ISA Announces New January Term Options in Chile, Italy, France and Spain

ISA is pleased to be able to offer several new January Term/Winter Session study abroad programs in Europe and Latin America beginning in 2014. Students can enroll in the stand-alone January program or do so as a precursor to a regular semester program. Students looking to enroll in more than one course ought to consider applying to an Intensive Month session instead.

Valparaiso, Chile
The three-week Spanish Language and Chilean Culture J-Term program at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso accommodates students at the intermediate and advanced Spanish language levels who hold a 2.5 GPA. Students will enroll in Spanish Grammar and Chilean Culture & Conversation. (Jan. 4 – Jan. 25).

Paris, France
Students enrolled in the Intensive Business January Term at the American Business School of Paris in one intensive four-week long business course, including International Marketing, Managerial Accounting and Business Finance. (Jan. 3 – Jan. 25).

Florence, Italy
The Arts, Business & Italian Language January Term program at the Florence University of the Arts and Apicus International School of Hospitality is designed for students wanting to complete an arts, business or Italian language course in an intensive 3-week format. (Jan. 4 – Jan. 23).

Rome, Italy
The Italian Culture & Liberal Arts January Term at the American University of Rome program is designed for students wanting to complete one culture or liberal arts course in an intensive 3-week format. Each course offers a field trip as part of the curriculum. (Jan. 3 – Jan. 18).

Málaga, Spain
The Intensive Spanish Language January Term program at the Universidad de Málaga accommodates students at all levels of Spanish language proficiency. All levels will take two hours of Spanish Language, two hours of Spanish Conversation, and one hour of oral comprehension daily. (Jan. 6 – Jan. 18).

Salamanca, Spain
The Spanish Language and Culture January Term program at the Universidad de Salamanca accommodates students at all levels of Spanish language proficiency. All levels will take two hours daily of Spanish Language, two hours daily of Spanish Conversation, and one hour daily of oral comprehension. (Jan. 6 – Jan. 29).
